Terms & Conditions

DRAFT — not legal advice. Cancellation and refund terms depend on the signed agreement and applicable law. Review this draft with a qualified lawyer before publishing or using it with clients. Items marked [PLACEHOLDER] must be completed.

Project proposals and written approval

Each project starts with a written proposal that states the price, scope, timeline, and terms. Work begins only after the client approves the proposal and agreement in writing.

Project scope and revisions

The agreed scope lists the pages, features, and deliverables. Revisions included: [PLACEHOLDER: number of revision rounds]. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

Deposit and payment schedule

Unless the agreement says otherwise, a 50% deposit confirms the project and allows work to begin. The remaining 50% is due after the work is completed and before final delivery, transfer of files, or publication. Payments are requested through individual PayPal invoices.

Client responsibilities and delays

The client agrees to provide content, images, access, and feedback on time. Delays may change the timeline and, where agreed, the schedule or cost.

Project cancellation

Either party may request cancellation in writing. How a cancellation is handled depends on the signed agreement, the work already completed, non-recoverable costs, and applicable law. Cancellation fee or formula: [PLACEHOLDER: percentage or formula, to be set after legal review].

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed according to the signed agreement, the work completed, non-recoverable costs, and applicable law. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights. Refund rule: [PLACEHOLDER: to be set after legal review].

Final delivery

After the full payment is confirmed in PayPal, the project is delivered according to the agreement.

Ownership and transfer of files

Ownership and usage rights of the finished work transfer to the client after full payment, unless the agreement says otherwise. Third-party assets keep their own licenses. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm ownership terms]

Third-party costs and subscriptions

Hosting, domains, premium plugins, themes, stock images, and similar costs are paid by the client and are not included in the project price unless the proposal says so.

Communication and project changes

Project communication is by email or the contact method chosen by the client. Changes to scope, price, or timeline must be agreed in writing. Business details: [PLACEHOLDER: legal name, address, governing law]
